Who's behind Ezley

Trust starts with knowing who you're trusting. Here's who's building Ezley, and how to verify it for yourself.

Founder

Marc Talcott

I've spent twenty-five years building software, most of it in finance, retail, and integration architecture. Today I'm Director of Software Engineering at Inmar Intelligence, where I lead teams designing event-driven, AI-enabled financial systems. Before that, a long run of senior engineering and engineering-management roles at the same intersection of money, events, and scale.

My technical home base is event sourcing and event-driven architecture — systems where every action is recorded as an immutable event, so the history of what happened is the source of truth. That's the same backbone Ezley runs on. For a marketplace where buyers wire real money to people they've never met, "we have a perfect audit trail" isn't a marketing line; it's an architectural decision made on day one.

I studied computer science at UNC Greensboro, where I was inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the computing honor society. I live near Greensboro, North Carolina, with my wife. Together we own several small businesses. Ezley is the project I've wanted to build for years: the trust layer that high-value peer-to-peer commerce has always needed and never quite had.

Operating company

Tarheel Solutions, LLC

Ezley is operated by Tarheel Solutions, LLC, a limited-liability company registered in North Carolina and founded in 2014. Tarheel Solutions is the legal entity behind every transaction on Ezley — the counterparty on your receipts, the holder of the escrow account, and the signatory on the Terms of Service.

It's a real company with a real registration, not a brand wrapper. The details below are what you'd use to verify that yourself.

How to verify us

Don't take our word for any of the above — check it. These are the public sources a skeptical buyer would (and should) use.

Why this page exists

Most marketplaces hide their operators behind a logo and a customer-service email. That works fine when transactions are small and the platform's guarantees are limited to a refund button.

Ezley is built for transactions where that isn't enough — tractors, used vehicles, professional cameras, real furniture. Money in serious amounts moves between people who have never met. The product is the trust layer in between. And trust starts, before any of the mechanics, with knowing the name of the person and the company on the other side of it.

So that's what this page is. Now you know.

The fastest path is email — it goes to a real person who reads it.
